Ingrid Gangestad is an accomplished and innovative consumer foods professional with extensive experience in the consumer packaged goods industry and expertise in recipe creation and nutrition communication. Ingrid has additional background in product development and regulatory compliance.
Ingrid has served with industry leaders, including General Mills, Kellogg’s, Cargill and Meredith Corporation. She has a solid track record of bringing products to market following comprehensive research, development, and testing. She has also traveled throughout Europe to gain insight on product development strategies and food manufacturing/processing practices.
Since 2000, Ingrid has built St Croix Culinary Consulting LLC, to be a food, nutrition and marketing consulting business that brings strategic, cost-conscience solutions to clients by delivering trusted results.
Ingrid has a Bachelor of Science, with honors, in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Minnesota, St. Paul, MN. She completed additional coursework in marketing, food writing, and food styling.
Ingrid is highly knowledgeable of FDA and Nutrition Labeling and Education Act (NLEA). She is a Registered Dietitian and is certified by International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) as Culinary Professional.
