Lid knob cracked and fell apart

"I really like the Smart Control cookware, I bought a whole base set and a couple of extras. But the vent knobs are of questionable quality. One of mine cracked down the middle under normal use and fell apart. Someo f the other seem to be loose but I'm afraid to try and tighten the screw that holds them together for fear of another one cracking. Now I have a pot with NO lid because they don't appear to sell replacement lids or parts for the Smart Control series."
