"I have had my Farberwere tea kettle since it was given to me as a wedding present in 1986. It looks a little different from the newer models, but still works great! It still whistles!! I was using it this morning and thought I should write a review."

"I really do not like that I must keep the spout cover opened manually, that it doesn't have a "locked open" position as my previous, 40-tear-old Farberware kettle did. And I really do miss the older kettle's triple-whistle, which was wonderful. So sad that I tossed the old one."

"This kettle is a safety hazard! It never whistles, so when you open the spout to pour a cup it shoots boiling water out at a very dangerous speed shooting hot water all over. I almost got burned! I TOSSED IT."
