Worst Egg Poacher

"The cups are made of plastic which is the major issue. A 3 minute egg is totally runny. A 4 minute egg is still not firm white. At 5 minutes the yolk is hard. DO NOT BUY"

Not pleased

"I just used the poacher for the first time and the results were unlike any I’ve had with any other poacher. I’ll attribute that to having plastic cups. I use a poaching time of 4:10 on every other poacher. That wasn’t nearly enough time for this unit. I ended up with the yolk cooked medium and the whites still a bit runny. I recommend buying a poacher with metal cups."

Two thumbs down

"The inserts for the eggs are plastic. The eggs do not cook properly in these inserts. I do not recommend this product. The inserts should have been metal."

Caution when removing poacher pan

"Caution when removing poacher pan Eggs were perfectly 👌"

Nancy B. (5/5)

Nice but mom's was better.

"I like it, but it is not as good as the one my mom had: the eggs do stick a little, in the poach cups, but I am just getting use to it, too! Tried butter first, but to be honest, I put the egg in and then the butter, and it may have been better to put the butter in let it melt a bit and then the egg. Also, though about a non-stick spray for the poach cups! The handle screw was a little loose, but hopefully that is not a sign of faulty threading. The lid is great and the pan is nice."

Good features

"I purchased this product a few weeks ago. I like the quality of the Copper Glide Cookware. And I'm happy because the lid doesn't have a hole in it allowing the badly needed steam to escape! To have perfectly poached eggs, the steam must not escape."

Speedy (4/5)

Cute pan

"I love my egg poacher pan. Just have to get adjusted to how long one keeps it on the heat in order to get the whites of the egg cooked all the way through. Like everything in life it will get better as time goes on 😊"

LOVE!

"I found this pan at a vacation rental and immediately ordered one. I love it! No mess, no fuss, just great poached eggs….and a side of bacon!"
